Joe Borreson A slightly different yet very enjoyable release from Paw/øjeRum, whom has several styles from release to release that often slightly overlap. Yet this one is just his voice and guitar and about as close to a ‘singer/songwriter’ style that I’ve heard from him before. Still fairly dark with most in a semi-drone like brooding nature, they’re still quite nice when you’re in the mood. Favorite track: Soft Pastel Tongue.

and colours of ambient realms, often utilising beautifully orchestrated, melancholic loops soaked in endless reverb. On Coiled Souls, øjeRum
exists in a form shaped around soft-spoken, bittersweet acoustic
songs thriving in minimalism and lo-fi aesthetic.The ten songs on the record are centered around the guitar and voice, alongside the shifting isolation of the room, revealing a truly personal and honest representation of the artist himself.
